Aaron Spectre

Aaron Spectre, an American musician hailing from rural Massachusetts, has garnered acclaim for his innovative fusion of electronic and heavy music genres. Raised in a family of engineers and scientists, he developed an early interest in technology and music, experimenting with computers and playing drums in local hardcore bands during his teenage years. This diverse background laid the foundation for his distinctive sound, which seamlessly blends elements of drum and bass, jungle, breakcore, and metal.

In 2007, under his Drumcorps alias, Spectre released his debut album, Grist, which received an Award of Distinction from Austria's Prix Ars Electronica for its groundbreaking amalgamation of American hardcore and electronic music. This accolade propelled him into the international spotlight, leading to extensive tours across Europe and beyond. Subsequent releases, such as the EP Heartstrong in 2012 and the album Falling Forward in 2015, further showcased his versatility and commitment to pushing genre boundaries.
