Cockroach is a Slovak-born drum and bass DJ and producer currently based in Prague, recognised as one of the leading figures within the Czech and Slovak neurofunk scene. First stepping behind the decks in 2015 at the age of 17, he quickly built a reputation for aggressive, high-energy sets and technically precise mixing.
After gaining attention through multiple DJ competition wins, Cockroach became closely involved with the wider regional scene through the Drumatch crew while also helping organise Toxicbass events. His approach combines heavier modern neurofunk with classic drum and bass selections, balancing fast-paced mixing with tightly controlled transitions and darker dancefloor pressure.
Alongside club appearances across Europe, Cockroach has become a regular name on larger bass music line-ups, including performances at Darkshire Festival. His mixes and guest appearances have also featured across festival promotions and platforms including Methlab and FourTune Festival.
Within the Czech & Slovak Bass Awards, Cockroach has consistently ranked among the top DJs in the region, including DJ of the Year titles in 2019 and 2020. Alongside DJ performances, he continues developing his production work through stripped-back, high-intensity neurofunk releases and collaborations.
