ERBass is a Brazilian jungle and drum and bass producer hailing from Perus in São Paulo, with roots in the culture stretching back to the mid 1990s. First drawn to jungle in 1995, he immersed himself fully in vinyl culture by 1998, developing a deep connection to breakbeats, sound system dynamics, and the ritual of DJing that continues to shape his production style today.
Throughout the 2000s, ERBass channelled that passion into running fortnightly club nights, hiring venues to premiere fresh cuts directly to the dancefloor. Those sessions helped build a reputation for adventurous selections and fearless blends, reinforcing a forward-thinking approach that honours jungle’s foundations while pushing into contemporary territory.
Early recognition came through the DNBB platform with the release of A Just Moment, sharpening his focus on crafting distinctive, modern jungle and drum and bass with global reach. His sound balances rolling basslines, crisp breaks, and detailed low-end design, rooted in classic influences but engineered for current systems.
In 2026 he landed on Dirtbox Recordings with Rock N Rollerz EP7, contributing to the label’s long-running series dedicated to heavyweight rollers and jungle pressure. The release further cemented his position as a producer committed to rhythm, groove, and dancefloor functionality, carrying São Paulo’s energy into the wider drum and bass conversation.
