Klax, a dynamic drum and bass trio from Brighton, England, has become a standout act in the UK electronic music scene. Comprised of Benny, Ben, and Joel, the group is known for their innovative approach to drum and bass, blending elements of bass music, techno, and jungle influences. Formed in the mid-2000s, Klax’s members initially met through a shared passion for music and collaboration. Joel, who worked in a record shop in Brighton, met Ben through his job, and soon after, they introduced Benny into the group. Klax’s breakthrough came in 2018 with the release of their Lucid EP, featuring tracks such as Become with Charli Brix. In addition to their drum and bass releases, Klax made waves in 2016 with their remix of David Bowie’s iconic track Heroes for its 40th anniversary.
