Minor Rain

Minor Rain, the alias of Slovakian producer Jakub Šenšel, has been a dynamic presence in the drum and bass scene since the early 2010s. Hailing from Martin, Slovakia, Šenšel's musical journey began in childhood with piano lessons, followed by a stint with the saxophone. After a brief hiatus from music, he returned with a passion for electronic production, eventually gravitating towards drum and bass.

In 2016, Minor Rain released the Resistance EP on Addictive Behaviour Records, showcasing a more aggressive and powerful sound. Tracks like Resistance and Hydra exemplify his ability to craft robust, dancefloor-ready tunes while maintaining a unique sonic identity.

Beyond his drum and bass productions, Minor Rain has explored various electronic styles, reflecting his refusal to be confined to a single genre. This versatility has allowed him to continuously evolve as an artist, contributing to his longevity in the electronic music scene.
