Bristol-based producer Sonnet makes drum and bass with character, contrast and intent. Blending cinematic intros with bold, bass-driven drops, his sound pairs playful detail with emotional weight, always backed by a strong sense of identity behind the boards.

After stepping back from the public side of music for several years, Sonnet re-emerged in 2025 through 1 More Thing’s open demo drop streams. Encouraged by the response to his early material, he built momentum quickly, writing new music each week and shaping what became his debut Melon EP. The result is a sharp five-track release that channels both sweetness and steel.

His music has already been championed by A.M.C, High Contrast, John B, K Motionz and Rob Swire. With deep roots in UKF-era drum and bass and a DIY approach to production that includes building his own custom synths, Sonnet is creating music that reflects where he’s come from and where he’s heading next.
