Sonz of a Loop Da Loop Era is the alias of British drum and bass producer and DJ Daniel Whiddett, also known as Danny Breaks. Emerging in the early 1990s, he became a prominent figure in the breakbeat hardcore scene. In 1991, under the Suburban Base Records label, he released the track Far Out, which achieved significant success by reaching the UK Singles Chart. This track is noted for its vibrant energy and innovative fusion of '80s New York sounds with breakbeat elements.

In 1994, Whiddett founded the record label Droppin' Science, transitioning his focus towards jungle and contemporary drum and bass under the moniker Danny Breaks.
