Urban Frequency: Drum and Bass Biography, Releases and Upcoming Events

Urban Frequency is a musical production project from Campinas - SP (interior of the capital Paulista), which began in 2001, formed by DJs and music producers Kromiick (Márcio RC) and SFDub (Sérgio Fernandes).

Since the early 2000s, they have been presenting their B2B format DJ sets, travelling through various aspects of Drum'n'Bass but always emphasising their love for the hardcore side of the style, which has always been expressed in their songs.

In music production, Urban Frequency has been working with several national and international labels such as:

National: True Box Records, SoulBass Recordings, Anarchy in the Funk Records, Promo Audio Music, DNB Noise Records, Krek Noise Records, Stats Records, ERBASS Recordings, SP Forgotten Recordings, DNBB Recordings, 4Jungle Records, Tamborim Records, among others.

International: Xylo Records (United Kingdom), Kulture Klash (Portugal), Airline Digital Recordings (Hungary), among others—having their works performed by DJs, podcasts, livestreams, playlists, and radios from various parts of the world.

Today, in addition to DJ sets and music production, Urban Frequency is part of the production and broadcast of the programme BASSCREW, a livestream that airs every two weeks on Saturdays, streamed via YouTube (www.youtube.com/BASSCREW), where they publish their latest works and dubplates of national and international artists.
