Ant Miles

Ant Miles is a distinguished British drum and bass producer and sound engineer, renowned for his foundational contributions to the genre. Beginning his career in 1985, Miles co-founded RAM Records in 1992 alongside Andy C, establishing a label that would become synonymous with high-quality drum and bass music.

As part of the duo Origin Unknown with Andy C, Miles was instrumental in producing seminal tracks that have left an indelible mark on the scene. Their 1993 release, Valley of the Shadows, is particularly revered, often cited as a pivotal track in the evolution of drum and bass.

In 1994, Miles founded Liftin Spirit Records, further contributing to the proliferation of drum and bass by providing a platform for emerging artists. His expertise in sound engineering and production has been pivotal in shaping the technical precision associated with the genre.
