Baska: Drum and Bass Biography, Releases and Upcoming Events

Baska began his journey in music production in 2021, focusing on Drum and Bass through the renowned BMA - Bass Music Academy, founded by DJ Andy. Since then, he has been fully dedicated to refining his sound and expanding the reach of Brazilian Drum and Bass worldwide.

His debut release, "Bounce", was featured in the Bass Music Academy Student Series compilation by DNBB Records in December 2022, marking his official entry into the scene. Since then, his music has gained recognition through labels like 4Jungle, Tamborim, Interferency, Liquid Flow, Liquid Brilliants, Mathematica, Promo Audio, and Mocean Records.
With upcoming releases on Lizplay, Koba Audio, DNBB, Mocean, and BMA Records, Baska continues to push Brazilian DnB beyond national borders. 2024 marks a new chapter in his career, with fully independent releases and collaborations with other artists, paving the way for the creation of his own label, aimed at supporting new talents in the scene.

As a DJ, his journey began in the 1980s, exploring different genres, refining his technique, and mastering his musical intuition. For over 15 years, he played in various nightclubs and social events, making his mark at major parties like BMA Sessions, DNB Radio Summer Festival, and DNBB Nights.

Currently, Baska hosts live streams on Twitch, showcasing both his productions and tracks from top Brazilian and international DnB artists. Additionally, he has an extensive collection of sets on Mixcloud, ranging from Drum and Bass to Hardstyle, highlighting his versatility and passion for electronic music.
