Cauzer

Cauzer, the alias of Cardiff-based producer Nel Morgan, has quickly become a rising force in the drum and bass scene. Influenced by jungle and drum and bass introduced by her brother during childhood, she developed a love for electronic music that grew further when she discovered dubstep at 14 years old.

In 2021, Cauzer made a significant impact with a three-track EP on Critical Music’s Binary series, a platform known for showcasing groundbreaking talent. The release highlighted her unique approach, blending minimalistic sub-bass steppers with elements of tech and neurofunk, marking her as an artist with a distinctive sound and forward-thinking style.

Cauzer has also contributed to projects with Incurzion Audio and is working on an EP for the label. Her dedication to meticulous production and a high standard of creativity have solidified her reputation as an innovative and versatile producer within the drum and bass community.

While live performances were initially limited due to the global pandemic, Cauzer gained attention through online events, including Fully Charged Audio’s Pinkstream, which featured an all-female lineup. These appearances allowed her to connect with new audiences and showcase her DJing skills.
