DJ Chap

DJ Chap, hailing from São Paulo, Brazil, is a prominent figure in the drum and bass scene, renowned for his deep, harmony-focused productions aimed squarely at the dancefloor. His musical repertoire has garnered recognition from esteemed artists both within and beyond Brazil, including DJ Marky, DJ Patife, Bryan Gee, London Elektricity, Roni Size, and S.P.Y.

Throughout his career, DJ Chap has released music on notable labels such as Innerground Records, Liquid V, and Chronic. His collaborations with fellow Brazilian producer Andrezz have further propelled him into the spotlight, setting a benchmark for contemporary Brazilian drum and bass. In 2014, he joined forces with DJ and producer Pedro Lima (Level 2) to form the duo Alibi. Alibi has delivered impressive results, including appearances on the legendary Hospital Records compilations The Future Sounds of Brazil and S.P.Y's Hospital Records Mixtape, as well as the track Hurt Heals on Riya's Hurt Heals EP via Total Science's label CIA Recordings. With V Recordings, they released their first album, Said And Done, featuring artists such as MC DRS, T.R.A.C., Serum, and L-Side.

As a performer, DJ Chap has graced numerous venues worldwide, including major festivals such as Exit Festival (Serbia), Boomtown (UK), and Sun And Bass (Italy). He has also played at renowned clubs like Fabric London (London, UK), The Steelyard (London, UK), and Lions Night Club (São Paulo, Brazil), showcasing his ability to create special atmospheres that reflect his musical influences.
