Telekinesis is a Slovenian neurofunk / dark drum & bass duo comprised of producers Smooth and Markoman. They first collaborated under the alias around 2009, and quickly gained attention after signing early tracks to labels like Viper Recordings and State of Mind Music. Known for their deep, unfiltered sound, Telekinesis blend futuristic atmospheres, heavy bass design and aggressive drum work, delivering music with intensity and emotional weight. Their early breakthrough included releases on Jade’s Eatbrain imprint, and their work has earned support from producers and labels across the scene.
Over time they have broadened their reach with tracks on Blackout Music and remixes that showcase their technical range. Their legendary “Obey EP”, including tunes such as “Listen”, has been described as a benchmark in modern neurofunk.
Still evolving, Telekinesis remain key figures in the darker, experimental wing of drum & bass, respected for consistency, production depth and a commitment to pushing sonic boundaries.
