Marco Reggianini, known professionally as Akrom, is an Italian drum and bass producer and DJ from Modena. He discovered electronic dance music in the early 2000s and developed a passion for drum and bass. In 2006, he began his journey into DJing and production under the alias Moon, releasing his first track in 2009 on Subculture Recordings. In 2009, he adopted the moniker Akrom and dedicated several years to refining his production skills.
Akrom's dedication bore fruit with his debut release in 2015 on the Italian-Czech label BNC Express. Since then, he has consistently showcased his evolving sound, leading to releases on esteemed labels such as Blackout Music, Cause4Concern Recordings, and Evolution Chamber. His collaborations include work with artists like IHR, Myselor, and Disphonia, further cementing his position in the neurofunk subgenre of drum and bass.
