Marcus Visionary, a veteran DJ and producer from Toronto, Canada, has been a leading figure in the jungle and drum and bass scenes for over three decades. His extensive career has been defined by a passion for bass-heavy music, deeply influenced by his West Indian heritage and exposure to reggae and dub sounds from an early age.
In 2010, Marcus released his groundbreaking album Humble on Liondub International, a project that fused Jamaican reggae culture with British rave music. A decade later, he revisited the project with Humble Revisited, further cementing his reputation for innovation and his ability to keep the jungle sound fresh and relevant.
As a co-founder of the BUMP promotion company in the late 1990s, Marcus was instrumental in introducing UK garage and jungle sounds to Canadian audiences. He has also hosted "The Prophecy" on 89.5 FM, North America's longest-running jungle and drum and bass radio show, showcasing his commitment to nurturing the genre's growth and reaching new audiences.
