Starting as a DJ in 1989, he transitioned into music production in 1994, becoming a key figure in the evolution of jungle and drum and bass. Majistrate has worked with many of the genre’s leading labels, including Low Down Deep Recordings, where his signature style of rolling basslines and intricate drum patterns has made a lasting impact.
